I'm seeing these supplemental oil feed line kits for my 4.2 Atlas. They take oil from accessory port in front by the oil filter and run it to the back of the block to add additional oil supply to the rear main bearings.

My Envoy has 205k miles but is in excellent condition. Meticulously maintained and I'm planning on driving it for many more years.

Would adding this help extend its life?

Any input appreciated. Thx..Cam

Probably not unless you start running a turbo or making tons of extra power. Watched a video from Atlas Industries and even they said that if it's properly maintained and not modified, the stock oiling system is fine.

Not worth the money or trouble.
