My 07 LT and your mod suggestions

I think we picked up on the sarcasm

Since you still have your stock intake, seeing live data for your intake air temp, MAF CFM, and intake psi would be interesting to see. We can compare the stock baseline numbers to what us members see with our current intake setups. See if there is any "real" difference other than looking at the dyno sheet provided by K&N. Hell I think the 10 HP/10ftlb torque claims by K&N are above 5000 rpm.

I have a fwi. It's like an upside down snorkel. Or a vacuum cleaner. I generally don't drive in the rain but if I get stuck out in a storm I'm like ohshitohshitohshitohshitohshit while I'm dodging puddles

Yup.....agreed. My initial thought of running a duct from the break vent up to the air box was a nice thought but trying to keep the 4" consistency was a nightmare of cutting and slashing and then you have the "moisture concern". I doubt I would have had the concern of puddles of water since we are talking of "water" going uphill roughly 36" but you never know. So I am trying something else to see if there is a "better solution". Thanks for the fyi.....
