WET FLOOR?

Today I noticed that my drivers side carpet is soaked under my Husky liner mat. The truck is garaged and the water is not AF also the liner stops the snow melt. So before I dive into it I thought that I might inquire if there are any problem areas on the 360 that others have dealt with ...Mike.

Normally it's the passengers side because of the A/C drain blocking up. Do you have a sunroof? If so, it could be the drain on that side that's blocked. That's all I can think of.

The day I picked up my Envoy, it was raining hard and there was a puddle on the driver side. It turned out to be a plugged sunroof drain.
The water ran down the inside of the A-pillar.

in my blazer i know the line for the rear washer fluid ran under the carpet on the drivers side im not sure if its the same for ours just a thought

That's good info, I'm now thinking about that sunroof drain that you all mention. I'm going to watch it closely now that I know that I have a leak. It's been really cold so I could have had a frozen drain...

i had the same problem both sides of vehicle. seeing as that you live in a state with snow was it snowing or were the roads wet or raining even?

if so i will get under mine and get some pics of what my issue was.
i will try to explain the best as possible



on both sides under the carpet and pad are what look like raised metal (almost circular) i call them plugs and the are not metal they are just painted to look metallic. he floor board around the plugs rust and or corrode due to water/salt/snow and temperature.



the circled areas have like i said plugs. i pulled back the carpet and put a thick layer (4-8mm thick) of undercoating inside and out. since then i have not had that problem.:wootwoot:

Are you talking about the hoses being clogged that run from the roof to the pillar drain hole which can be seen only by removing the pillar trim? I think its a clear hose? One on each side. Does this sound right?

It was black tubing if I remember correctly.

With the roof open, the water would pool up and run into the ceiling panel then down the pillar. A quick shot of compressed air and the water drained.

Have not had a problem since.
