Stuck in gear help!

Hey guys! Haven't been on in a while been really busy but I have been having a problem with 03 envoy ...when I got to drive it it gets stuck in I wanna say 3rd gear but I try to manually shift it down and nothing happens no matter what and when I park it I go to shut the car off and the engine will turn off but the key is stuck in the on position as it I were in gear and trying to get the key out...but if I disconnect the battery for a while it will then come out upon reconnect has anything like this happened? what is going on? I have 3 differ people telling me 3 differ thing... thanks in advance!

Figured it out... it was a fuse that wasn't Makin a proper connection

Do you remember which fuse it was? ... might be helpful to someone in the future

It was an ignition fuse under the rear seat it! The car had one ignition code and rest were gear solanoids and torque converter wiggled it and could hear a clicking in the kernel and boom key came out and shifts just fine!!
