I have a power steering leak on my 07 4.2L Envoy. I have found the location but I'd like help indentifying which hose it is before I take it off. It leaks out a push connect on the driver's side; circled in the pictures. I'm not sure if it's the pressure hose or upper or lower return or something else.

That's not a push connect, it's a clamp to hold the line to the frame. It's the return line that's on the side closest to the fender. If you trace it down it should go to the cooler. Almost everyone has had to replace them and it's a PITA so I would replace both anyway while you're at it unless it's a monetary thing. The worst part is getting the top clamp off and getting the lines hooked back into rack. FYI, the lines usually leak under the upper clamp at the top of the fender.

On my 05 trailblazer the right line is the return and the left is the pressure line. Mine broke on the strut tower which is a very common thing to happen because of the rubber piece. Here are some pics of my repair that I did. I used 3/8" fuel hose and some clamps to hold it on there.

Thanks. I wasn't sure what that clamp was. Per the schematic 6 & 8 are the pressure and return 6 being the pressure.

Thanks.Screenshot_20170912-191226.png Screenshot_20170912-191231.png

Yeah, I have had this same issue for like two years now, it barely does it, might be a little wet every now and then and maybe a drop or two on the ground after a long while, but so far i havent felt the need to bother with it until i start getting more.
