Hey guys ive had my tb for about 4 months now and according to my gauge my temps never get above the middle mark between 100-210, so figured 155-160ish.. I thought it might have been the guage until I got my bafx odbII adapter and the torque app tonight and it shows around 163-165..
My question is.. is this hurting my tb? I'm assuming it is the thermostat not fully closing?

Normal "operating" temp would have the in dash gauge pointing straight up, at 12 o'clock.

Lots of threads on the subject, try a search

you might want to change the coolant while you are at it, and perhaps the radiator cap.

(read up and decide if you want to take off the generator to get at it, or try to finagle through the wheel well)

good luck.

and yes, that is way too cold and can eat your cat if you did not fix it.

Thanks! I did just pull the cap off tonight and the part that goes into the radiator separated from the actual cap, so I gotta get a new cap too.

Not worry, I just suggested the search so that you would have some background reading.
