Hey guys, long time no hear!
So, I'm trying to help one of my co workers replace a Map Sensor on her 05 TB.... She wants to try it herself, so I told her that I would try to locate some instructions for her so she could do it herself, but can't seem to find them. Anyone got a link to where I can find these instuctions?

You probably can't find instructions because replacing a MAP sensor is very simple. Disconnect the electrical connector and depress the holding tab. Then remove. Push the new one in and reconnect the electrical connector. No bolts to remove. The MAP sensor is even super easy to get to: it's on top of the intake on my vehicle. Is there a reason she thinks it's bad? Unless there is a code indicative of its malfunction it is a bit on the pricey side (~$60) to just assume it's bad IMHO.

Or do you mean a MAF sensor? I can't remember which year they started putting MAF sensors on them...

Would have to agree here. The PCM has a bunch of routines to check stuff like the MAP sensor. Would usually throw a code if bad. 2006 was when MAF's were introduced.
