First I want to say Hello to everyone. It has been a long time since I have been here. Buying our first Home, New Home Projects, Spending time with the Family and getting into a New Hobby (Saltwater Reef Fish Tanks)which I Love has taking all of my time.

Anyways I have been having this Noise come from behind the dash for some time now. It happens every now and then, but an Increase in Stereo Volume seems to fix the problem. Here is a 15 second sound clip........ Name that Sound? OR.......Maybe not because I can not upload that kind of file from my phone. Sooo if someone wants to hear it please pm me with ur cell number and I can send it to you. Otherwise I have to wait until the sound happens again and try and record a video.

I think you can upload sound clips to YouTube... Then you'd have just a black video with sound that you could share here.

Vocaroo also offers sound uploading, then you just share the link. I believe you can do it without an account, like tinypic and the like.

Makes me think of a HVAC actuator on steroids that has went bad.

Kinda makes me think actuator, too. Like it's wanting a position like all the way closed, and can't quite achieve it, and keeps trying. High-end scanners (maybe Torque or Scangauge Pro(?) also) can read Body codes, it'd read Bxxxx, the system has the ability to give codes for specific actuators that can't meet desired position.

First thing first -- have to figure out which of the actuators it is (if it is indeed an actuator). Then it can be priced out accordingly. The actuators have different part numbers even though they do the exact same things.

Search the site for "HVAC actuators" there was a pretty good thread on it recently IIRC.
