Hello I have an 03 trailblazer ext lt and my gauge cluster decided it wanted to try and catch on fire. the chip that controls everything burnt and started to burn the circuits so now nothing works. what do I have to do to go about getting a new cluster. also hvac controls are the same way. I have the digital hvac.

Welcome to the forumClusters can be replaced, you wold just have to go to a speedo repair place to have your (approximate) mileage programmed into the new (to you) cluster. In my case, I wanted to install a DIC cluster and buttons, that my LS did not have. Your best bet would be to get a used cluster off Ebay or Amazon.
You are also able to replace your digital HVAC module with a used one.

Your digital HVAC controls also decided to hold a barbecue? I'd consider looking into electrical gremlins (namely, power spikes). The only thing I could think that ties the power of those two together is the charging system, and the ground point.
