I have an 04 GMC Envoy SLT and i was wondering if the Denali style bumper cover was compatible with the mounting brackets on these trucks.

Short answer,

Sweet I need to replace my front bumper cover because no matter what i use the drivers side bracket will not stay connected to the bumper cover itself. At the moment it is held together with duct tape. So i figured instead of keeping the stock bumper i would try a Denali and go towards doing a Denali copy with my Voy.

Well i just got a new job that pays alot better so in a month or two i should have the funds to do this.

Initially the member who had it made advertised the bumper cover through this site, http://extremedimensions.com/home.php

I just did a quick search, but does not seem to be offered on their site anymore. I was not aware that carid.com carried the bumper. DuraFlex is the same brand on both sites. $240 is not a bad deal plus the cost of paint.

I'm guessing they sold the rights off to get their money back, since nobody bought it, when people said they would...

You have options for the TB. Andy's Auto Sport Octane Body Kit, Street Scene Body Kit, and Sarona Body Kit.

Good point. It is easy to type in a thread you want one until it comes time to pay up. I am sure carid.com will do well with it.

The hood scoop...I'm okay with. But the roof scoop...I might have nightmares. I just wanna give some people a rant for the stupid things they put on cars. Like, even if that was functional...WHAT GOOD WOULD IT DO?! I guess if you don't like AC you're good to go. Lol ugh that poor TB.

He built that bumper himself, that's why you're not finding and purchase info out there.

As far as I know, you're only other option is to get a bumper kit from MDB Fabrications (Facebook) and either weld it together yourself or have a shop weld it up for you.

Yeah I think you're right, I haven't seen anyone else offering fully-assembled bumpers lately. If you want something like this, you'll have to do welding one way or the other.

If you're interested in the process, my full album from the original cardboard to the finished piece can be seen here: http://www.sourpuss.net/projects/vehicles/trailblazer/front_bumper/

If you want a ready-made kit made by a local member and used by many other members here, definitely check out Mike's product (MDB Fabrications). Note that he has quite a number of photos of his bumper here: http://forums.offroadtb.com/viewforum.php?f=35
