So I just ordered my DOD delete kit today and I know that a new cam is needed. My engine is the 2007 LH6 . After some soul searching and wallet consulting, I can not at this time justify a $400- $500 cam cost. I found today that the CTS-V cam from the LSA is a single bolt like the LH6. Is it a pipe dream to use this cam? I can order online for under $100. I need some input guys. Thanks

I don't know the specs on the CTS cam, or what you're trying to do with the TB.

But I do know that just because you ordered the DOD kit, doesn't mean you HAVE to install it until you're ready..

I just have my DOD turned off in the tune, maybe when it's nicer out I'll do a cam and lifter swap, but not now.

It would also mean you would need a special tune to run any other cam.
