Blending Door replacement

Hey guys, it's been a while...I'm trying to help out a friend of mine replace the main recirculation door. I tried the reset procedure but she still clicks. Is there a good DIY on what to remove to get to the actuator for replacement? Thanks

I did seek the oracle first and came across your 1st link. Didn't really find it helpful because they were replacing the lower one. Since this is the upper one I was looking for the easiest way to get it out without. The last link you posted looks useful, thanks!
