5.3 Engine for 2006 Envoy Denali

I'm located in Gainesville FL. Is this your motor? Do you know what I need to look out for when buying one. I know there are different types of 5.3.

I can double check when I get home today. But I think you need to go with 06 and up. The heads and active fuel management are different. If you are planning to swap your current heads and everything to a block it shouldn't matter what year. But a complete motor 06+

That's what I was afraid of. I just posted a new topic about how to know what kind of 5.3 to look for.
