Got the exhaust all installed today. No welding, was able to bolt everything together. Did the Walker SoundFX OEM-style muffler and a slanted Magnaflow tip out the back. Sounds GREAT. I went from a 40 series flowmaster to this baby. No more loud ricey sound, no more drone, and I can't...

Yeah its after the muffler. It sounds obnoxiously loud inside the cab. Going back to oem style muffler for resale purposes.

Haha no not worried about fire. Was never a thought at all. Just idling I was referring to.

If I take the hanging tail pipe where it broke off out for now, is it safe to drive with the exhaust exiting the muffler basically under the passenger rear seat?

Welp my outlet pipe from my muffler (aftermarket - flowmaster) busted off last night. Because of all the sleeve-over and different size piping jobs, it is not repairable. I need a new full exhaust. My cat is also shot, as it clunks and rattles badly. Exhaust manifold is only 2 years old, so...

Mine only misfires when it is started after already having been warmed up. I'm thinking minor vacuum leak somewhere.

My cat has been rattling and clunking pretty good for several months now. Not looking to spend a whole lot, but would prefer a direct fit cat. Best suggestion? I thought about the Magnaflow high flow ones, but I can't justify it, not on what my vehicle is worth these days.

So based on research, these symptoms seem to be that of an intake vacuum leak. Only misfires after being completely warmed up, then turned back on. How can I further diagnose this?

So it only seems to misfire after the truck is run for a while, shut off 5-10 minutes, then restarted. It will idle very rough and the RPM's will surge up and down. It even happened again today after I filled it with fuel injector cleaner and shell 93 fuel (it only takes 87 octane). Thought...
