I run 15" rims. You will need to run 1.5" wheel adapters to offer clearance for the calipers for sure. You're adapters will also need to give you the correct bolt pattern. The wheels will also need somewhere around 3.5-3.75" of backspacing. A test fit is highly recommended, as not all wheels...

Looking good, but I would like to offer a suggestion. Drill all the way through the set screw couplings install 1/4-20 bolts. The set screws will loosen in a short amount of time. I only know this because I have built a few duck blinds with emt and ran into this problem.

Well stated Roadie. A good place to look for a bad connection is at the connections to the grid. The last rear defrost I had to fix had a poor connection on the ground side. The guy said "I have 12v to ground on both sides, can't see why it isn't working". Earned myself a quick case of...

$100 a piece? Sorry to break it to you bud, but brand new aftermarket rims can be bought starting at $109 per rim. You might want to consider lowering your price a bit to help them sell.

How about G80? Gotta open it up to know for sure about that?

I have been very happy with my Duratracs. Just be prepared to rotate them every 5000mi or they will start to cup. They are a pretty quiet tire for how aggressive they are too.

Change the end on the harness, put in another new resistor, and change the blower motor as well. Blower motors that are starting to go bad are often a cause for resistors burning up. The bad motor will draw too much current and cause the heating that damages everything.:thumbsup:

So are there measurements to take or a tag to read on the axle to know if you are getting an 8 or 8.6 and whether or not it has a G80? Or do you just have to take the salvage yard's word for it until you get home?

Yeah, that's what they're for. I won't put one on the Mounty though as it would really throw off the look of the vehicle. We just have to open a side window about 3" to make the noise go away.

Exactly. If the spoiler stays down you will hear a woo woo woo sort of sound. It is very annoying. My wifes mountaineer makes the sound even with the spoiler up, damn Ford engineers couldn't even get that part right.

Does sound like a motor mount. Have you noticed that the shake/vibration gets worse when you first start to move in reverse?
