My A/C clutch engages for a few seconds every minute , wich makes the rpm drop to 550 everytime , on or off . Did I need to check the the compressor and clutch or there is other issues like a leak or a sensor to check ? A/C is not so cold too.

So I have the shop check the oil pressure when the gauge indicates 0 , and it was good . Installed the new sensor , everything is back to normal .

The oil and filter are new from thursday , I do not know wich brand of filter the shop I go to put in usually , the oil level is good , no leak and no rpm drop when the pressure goes to 0

Anyone else have any insight ?

Yup , I clean the throttle and change the air filter every year . The engine was ticking before this problem and when the pressure drop there is no sound or vibration change in any way . My cluster makes a grinding noise too ( did anyone hear it? ) Where is the sensor located ?

The rpm on mine always drops every minute and because the ac compressor clutch engage , even if it's set to off . Can I just change the clutch or what ?

Very often , I pass from D , to 3rd gear , to 2nd just to slow down without using the brakes , and then return to D . Is this a bad habit to have ?

Last winter I had to replace the O² sensor on the manifold because the truck smelled gas and runs bad , so instead of cleaning it I bought a new CPAS , a Delco one . I'm planning to replace it on my own , so do I need to do anything special except from disconnecting the battery for 30+...

Clean it for the weekend , and try to keep it that way on the work site during the week .

Six AC Delco plugs and new fuel filter installed and even add some Kleen-Valve in the oil , maybe it need some time to work but the motor still sound like a diesel .. http://youtu.be/7XrWN-JsCpo
