Time to upgrade the stock stereo

Awesome. That's what I figured, but I always like to do thorough research before making a purchase like this. I'm also dealing with customer support, but this audience is just so much more responsive!!

I didn't even notice that you can angle the screen. That's a great idea. My windows are pretty tinted so I rarely have that issue, but with the windows down, that is quite convenient.

Time to upgrade the stock stereo

Axxess GMRC-01 (gmrc01) Non-Amplified, Non-OnStar Interface This is the wiring harness that SoundElectronix keeps wanting to bundle with any Head-Unit that I look at. It clearly says in the specs that it isn't made for TrailBlazer, or any GM for that matter after 2006. What gives? I like the...

Thanks for your advice. The ddx470 was actually on my radar. I like the 790 one a lot as well

Time to upgrade the stock stereo

Thank you for the advice on the wiring harness. I really like your Pioneer. I don't have steering wheel controls, I'm guessing that that matters?

Time to upgrade the stock stereo

I haven't even looked into those, and I have an Android, and not an iPhone. Most of the Head Units I've been looking at seem to be more guided towards iPhone owners. The Android based head units look pretty sweet tho, if we are on the same page.. something like this...

Time to upgrade the stock stereo

I've been looking around, and of course the options are nearly limitless.. I am looking at double din for sure, obviously ipod/usb/aux hook ups, LCD touch screen, something with 3 4v preamp outputs, and I would like a detachable faceplate if at all possible . I have found tons of different...

    Plasti dip guide: Wheels

Yeah, luckily my wiper cowl is still in pretty good shape. I definitely think 1 can would be enough. But I guess no two people use this stuff the same. I can tell you that I did 5 coats on 4 tires, 2 bowties and my Trailblazer emblem, and I used 2 cans. This also accounts for un clogging the cap...

    Plasti dip guide: Wheels

I didn't dip the wiper cowl. That would be an interesting idea though. I'm still thinking about what else I can dip! I bought 4 and still have 2 cans to use!

    Plasti dip guide: Wheels

Just got around to dipping the Trailblazer LS emblem black. Wheel and Bowties are still looking great even after a snowy, March and April in lovely CO. I wasn't worried about the snow as much as the mag-chloride. What have others with plasti-dipped wheels experienced with off-roading or heavy...

    MPGs?

I drive 9 miles to, and from work every day, all highway.. I just filled my first tank of gas, as the dealer filled it for me after purchase 3 weeks ago. I drove 306 miles on 19.5 gallons.. 22 gallon tank I believe, but that equates to about 15.6 mpg. I am happy with that because we had a few...

    Plasti dip guide: Wheels

I haven't used and tire shine yet, as I heard the same thing. I have black magic tire wet that I have used in the past, but am hesitant to use it just yet.

    Plasti dip guide: Wheels

Happy with the results! I dipped my wheels and bowties this weekend and I think they turned out real nice! Have already received a few compliments. It is a cheap, easy, application if you are interested in changing the color of wheels, trim etc.. From first lug nut off to last lug nut on took...
