If trailer house battery is low or dead. Will trailer brakes still work?

Is that what that red wire is for?

    DEAL Mobil 1

I buy extra 5 qt. bottles to make up the 6 qts. my Canyon needs. It's a lot cheaper than buying extra single quart bottles.

    Oil Filter Removal Trick?

I cut a piece of rain gutter and use it like a sluice. The length depends on whether you use ramps or have a lifted truck. One end in the drain pan and the top up under the filter. I do the filter first. I've also used a cut-off 2 liter soda bottle.

    The Random/Funny Pic Thread ver.2.0

The oil drain plug was stuck. So they tried to tilt the truck and drain thru the oil fill hole. :raspberry:

LED Light Bar as Backup Lighting

When I first read the title I thought you wanted to us the LED bar for backing up. Depending on your local laws, I don't see how this would be any different than fog lights. As long as it is aimed correctly. :twocents: You could also try polishing the headlight lenses.

    Full Size Service Manuals

Thanks MRRSM While I was looking at that CD, I found a hard copy: I can get a lot of the info from You Tube, but I like a hard copy also.

    Full Size Service Manuals

Helm inc. http://www.helminc.com/helm/homepage.asp?Style=helm I thought about getting the manuals for my 2017 GMC Canyon, buy $350 for the USB drive and $475 for the paper manuals. Not worth it for me.

    Radiator draincock?

Off topic, but I cut a short piece of gutter (18"- 24" ?) one end in the drain pan the other up past the filter. Works with or without the hatch.

Air ride compressor runs, no inflation?

I bought a repair kit from the dealer (about $35) when mine went bad. 2 screws, cover plate, rubber gasket and (the main part) a small spring. The original spring had rusted and allowed the air to escape. I'll see if I have the part #. Part/number 15183676 ECAS Compressor Repair Kit $35 in 2016.

Trailblazer pinhole drip from rear-end pressure hose

A tire patch kit and a metal hose clamp might do it. I don't know what the refrigerant pressure is but that worked on a garden hose with 60-80 psi of water pressure.

Best exhaust system, muffler resonator tailpipe

One thing I've noticed with 409 SS: While a magnet will stick to it , it is much easier to pull the magnet off of 409 SS than it is to pull that same magnet off of plain or aluminized steel. :twocents:

    Windshield washer

Just an FYI. Be wary of washer fluid that contains things that have additives like Rain-X. They can coagulate and clog the hoses. I had to siphon everything out of mine and rinse it out.

How to upgrade to EXT/SS Brake Upgrade

Agreed. The bigger the wheel, the more power it takes to turn them.

Tranny clicking noise , low fluid

Could the shuddering be caused by bad motor mounts?
