Thanks Brian, great info. Finally got some lift time-it's the left rear UCA, was broken. Hope I'm finally done replacing parts on this thing for a while so I can enjoy it :) Thanks again to all for your response!

So far, I've replaced both LCA's with new brackets and 1 UCA on the right.

Yes, posted it in the LCA thread. Not perfect but within spec. Weird thing is that under light throttle, it tracks straight. Give it some gas and it'll slowly start heading right, lift off and it goes slowly left. Looks like I'm going back to the shop....again. Wish I had a lift! I'll search...

OK, truck drives nice since the LCA's were replaced. However, and I'm being nit-picky: the truck now seems to pull to the right on acceleration. Not hard, just a drift. And same thing to the left when decelerating. Rear axle moving around? Just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this...

Picked it up Friday and it's like a whole new truck! Had lower A arms, brackets, and struts replaced. Very tight feel to it now, not twitchy anymore! Thanks all again for your suggestions and encouragement!

Losing my trust in shops, including one that is almost family. Finally had the chance to take it to yet another (4th) shop. Said both lower control arm bushings were shot. Not shot. GONE! How the other shops/mechanics missed it, I don't know. Thanks for the feedback.

2007 9-7x 5.3: 160K Long story (sorry). My question is that the truck drives squirrely, which is the best way to describe it. It feels weird to me. Kinda darts around when you move the steering wheel, either side, feels twitchy. Had it aligned at Just Tires after the right UCA was replaced, they...

My Saab 9-7x has the G80.

Mine starts around 70 and just seems to get worse the faster I go, only had it up to about 85.

OK, now that I've got the new UCA reinstalled properly and Just Tires redid the alignment that came out perfect-thanks again all!, I'm back to why I had the UCA replaced. I'm getting a vibration above 70, but the odd thing is that it isn't all the time. And I can't tell if it's in just the wheel...

Noticed it was zip tied-now I know why. Thanks!!
