Are there any A/T tires out there for stock 18-inch rims?

    What are you doing today?

Fixed up a Shappell S4000 ice shelter I got for free. Used an entire roll of gorilla duct tape for the tears and fabricated new tension poles as the originals were either broken or missing. Looking "functional". [emoji41]

Lucky or Unusual? Amazing pad and rotor wear.

That's where I'm at right now. My previous experience starts gnawing away at me to "BE PREVENTATIVE!"

What did you do to your GMT today?

Stood in the garage and took in the smell of the new Nitto's I had put on. (Gotta love that new tire smell....even after a couple of weeks.) Then hopped in my Subaru and went to work.

Sitting at work TRYING to find something to do. Budget for current project (web development) cut and waiting for next project to get funded. Ugh. So, I just browse GMTNation constantly.

I remember the last time I had to change brakes on my 2002 Taurus (It's gone now) the guy at O'Reilly's said that the factory rotors were basically "pot metal".

I know I'm probably cursing myself by posting this... I'm on my second TB. (2002 LT w/128k, 2008 LT3 w/101k) and I have NEVER had to change brake pads or rotors. I visually inspect them when I have a tire off. And, the few times a year I visit the stealership their inspection sheet...

Made a quick trip to the car wash. (If you look closely on the back window I still need to remove an obscene decal. [emoji38])

Yes they are 255/60R18. You have a good eye! The Michelin Latitude Tours I was running had 63k+ miles and were hovering around 4/32...so, yes...basically slicks.

Are there any A/T tires out there for stock 18-inch rims?

I'd like to say thanks to everyone who pitched in with ideas and advice. I appreciate every post. I'd also like to note that the UBJ clearance was 1/4 inch on BOTH SIDES with the Nitto's. Go figure.

Ok....Got the Nitto's on after work today. Before... After... Before... After... Saved my ass on the way home too!! Some jacko swerved into my driver door to avoid a fender bender and the combination of new tires and my lightning fast reflexes avoided a nice little collision by mere...
