    Oil on Vapor/Charcol canister connector

Yeah I'm aware the oil gauge is fake but any stupid light that comes on concerns me. That actually makes sense thanks! I never thought about it that way. I just got a chance to look at it, awesome I'll take a look at those and see what I can make out of all this! Thanks again for your help!

    Oil on Vapor/Charcol canister connector

Ahhhh I see thank you I'll look into that thread and I'll take a chance at the canisted first before I decide to get a new tank. Do you think this issue could be related to oil pressure drop as well when the truck comes to a stop?

    Oil on Vapor/Charcol canister connector

I've replaced the vent valve with the electrical connection to the tank like 3 months ago. I do remember seeing other smaller valves when I dropped the tank to change the pump but I never paid any attention to it. Could it have been the old vent valve that clogged the canister and it's no longer...

    Oil on Vapor/Charcol canister connector

Hello, I found that one of the 3 connections that go to the Vapor Canister has this weird thick oil coating on it, almost like its leaking oil. Out of the 3 connections it's the center one. Now long long ago on a thread deep in the web there was a guy claiming that he replaced his Vapor...

    Exhaust Manifold torque

I was really thinking about mentioning to use anti-seize instead but many users have reported completely missing 1 or more bolts from the manifold. Which is why sometimes thread lock is recommended. But since you provided a great explanation I'll go with anti-seize then. Thank you!

    Exhaust Manifold torque

BlazingTrails recommends to use anti-seize on the manifold bolts to get a better grip on the threads and provide a better torque.

Code P0300 & P0340, engine idling low, exhaust very puttery

To future readers, coil pack 1 and 4 are the most likely to fail in some cases because of water and moister that enters from the outside and puddles on the valve cover. For me these were the coils that always failed and had to get them replaced because they had water around the spark plug...

Engine sounds - rocks in a cup

Could be noisey lifters or rocker arm sticking because of oil gunk over the course of 170k. Mine has 250k and get occasional clicking from the valve cover area. After an oil change they quiet down then get noisy when it's time for a oil change. What i do to remedy this is add some type of oil...

    Clicking, ticking, constant with rpms

Took the belt off and ran it, difference definitely not accessory related seeing as I replaced most of them. Exhaust leak it is I believe, I'll pull the exhaust mani off on the weekend and take a look at it. The bolts are all there I can count 11 of them.

Tried that just now no change in noise, still coming from passenger side though. Hmmm the only things around there are the condenser and the line that runs under the radiator I doubt they are causing that noise. I can't wrap my head around this but it sounds like the exhaust

    Clicking, ticking, constant with rpms

I turn the AC off and on a few times in the video and its definitely louder with the AC on, sounds like an exhaust leak but I don't understand why the AC affects it, maybe the extra load? On the drivers side you can barely hear it. So I didn't film that side. http://youtu.be/vNWwLyidvjo

    Clicking, ticking, constant with rpms

Hey guys! I've been chasing this clicking/ ticking noise in my TB for a while now and I've been blaming a small exhaust leak on the manifold or gasket but that doesn't seem to be it anymore. I've narrowed it down to only happening with the AC on. When I first start the car in the morning and...

Which Exhaust Manifold to buy? Cracked

Damn I was reading up on the later year TB's definitely better manifolds but a bit too many mods to deal with especially when you know you're going to deal with broken bolts. Alright so oem it is then, thanks for the link! Any advice on how to make taking the manifold off a bit easier? Any...
