Why would I want to do that? Is that backing plate that needed. Up front, I thought it was mostly a dust and rock guard. I am serious here guys. that looks like way to much of a headache to worry about unless it does something drastic if Ignore it. I need some help understanding this one.

Thanks I very much appreciate it. I'v been driving around using my phones gps and an app called speed for MPH, and watching how many gallons used for the fuel gauge. Thought I was going to be walking more than once.
